Dinkum Software IS Tom Campbell

I'm a consultant/freelance programmer/engineer with 36 years experience designing, developing, and deploying real time embedded systems. Probably my greatest accomplishment to date is writing the software that drove the first robot submarine across the Atlantic Ocean .

I'm available to meet your software/system design and implementation needs.

Some highlights of my career:

• MIT undergraduate, Electrical Engineering/Computer Science.

• Have managed and supervised up to five programmers.

• Personally written 100,000's of lines of Java, Python, C++, C, and assembler production code.

• Network savvy, I co-founded and co-ran an ISP: Cape.Com.

• I'm a big linux fan and have extensive experience with a variety of real time operating systems.

• Designed and implemented digital hardware systems.

• I actually like going to sea with my projects (just not all the time). I'm an avid recreational sailor.
